Constitutional Amendments

Student Council Advisors,
The IASC is now seeking proposals for amendments to the IASC Constitution and By-laws. If you believe a change is necessary, please complete the form and return it to the IASC President, Priyanka Kaushal. All member schools have the right to express their opinions on the organization, and this is a tremendous opportunity to have your voice heard. This input also helps the Illinois Association of Student Councils greatly.
Every proposed amendment will be reviewed by both the IASC Executive Board and the Constitution Committee. All proposed amendments will be discussed at the 85th IASC State Convention in Lombard, Illinois. Each amendment will require a two-thirds majority vote for a constitution amendment to pass and a simple majority vote for by-law changes.
Please duplicate the form as needed for each proposed revision or addition, and submit via email to president@illinoisstuco.org by the deadline of January 9, 2019. No late forms will be accepted.
