One of the finest Student Council Associations in the country, the Illinois Association of Student Councils (IASC), invites leaders to accept the challenge of leadership by becoming a candidate for the IASC Executive Board at this year's IASC State Convention in Lombard, IL, May 4-6, 2023.
The elected state officer positions are:
- President
- First Vice President
- Second Vice President
- Secretary
- Membership Director
- Public Relations Director
Before making any decisions, please review the following files:
Once a decision has been reached to apply for an IASC Executive Board position, please complete the online application on the IASC website. Applications are due no later than 3:00 PM on February 1, 2023.
Being a member of the IASC is a rewarding experience for the students, the school, and the advisor. Remember that both advisor and student MUST attend the Credentials Committee meeting via video conferencing on February 25, 2023, to complete the interview process.
Please remember that your school must be a member of the IASC to run a candidate for office. Membership information is on the IASC website. Advisors, please remember that if your student becomes a member of the board, you MUST attend all meetings with your student.
