23-24 Honor Council Program

Posted: Sep 20, 2023

The IASC's Honor Council Book program recognizes your council’s dedication to your school and community and can be used as a tool to motivate growth within your council.  To be a part of the program, your school needs to create a book, following the provided scorecard, which documents your accomplishments throughout the year.  These books will be graded during the 2024 IASC State Convention by a committee of delegates.  As recognition for your school’s hard work and for making the Honor Council Book itself, a certificate or plaque will be awarded based on the number of points earned.

This year your council can submit either a full Honor Council Book or a Mini Book.  If you are new to the program, a Mini Book is a great way to learn about the book and process, as it is essentially a smaller version of the Honor Council Book with fewer requirements.  Applications are due by February 1, 2024, and must be completed online.  You may submit either a hard copy book or an electronic book; the requirements for both are the same, the only difference is the format of the final book.

Additional documentation for the Honor Council Book, including scorecards, title pages, affidavits, and more are available at illinoisstuco.org/documents, under the title Honor Council Materials.
